My wife and I just got home from taking your CCW class. Wanted to tell you I have been around guns and handled them all my life and my wife has had very little experience with hand guns. With those two extremes we both learned a lot from your class and both felt very comfortable. My wife is now signed up for the women,s handgun class and I plan on signing up for the H1 class. Thank you and I look forward to learning a lot more from you.

Thanks for the phone message last night regarding the CCW class last Saturday. At the moment, I don't have any burning questions (just a lot of notes to look at and think over!), but I did want to e-mail you to say thanks for a great course. It was truly enlightening, and you have a great teaching style. I'd love to eventually take handgun 1, and although she isn't presently interested in carrying, I'd love to get my girlfriend to take the CCW class, even if mostly for the awareness and avoidance parts of the course. So again, thanks for a great course, and hopefully I'll make it back for another one sometime down the road.

I took the concealed carry class which I thought was an EXCELLENT class.This is a must for people wanting instructions on personal protection and the correct usage of hand guns.I am a very avid hunter I thought I knew alot about hand guns.Mike sure has stepped my awareness up another notch with this course.

Dear Mike, The Concealed Carry Class that I attended in Gillette exceeded any and all my expectations. I can honestly say that I hung onto every word that you spoke in those 8 hours; I was never, ever once bored or disinterested. I didn't realize that your class would teach me how to better protect myself and loved ones from assault. The skills and lessons I learned that day will be with me every single day for the rest of my life. The Defensive Handgun course was really one of the great weekends of my life. Now that sounds like hyperbole, but it's true. When I inherited my 92F from my father I was actually afraid of the thing. I had never handled an auto before. The weapon was the "damned Beretta" that M was always warning 007 about. The few times I went to the range didn't help. The fellows that were showing me how to work the thing didn't seem to know much more about it than I. I felt very uncomfortable.
Your course changed everything. I appreciated starting with the bare basics and working systematically through all the aspects of effectively using this weapon. Your meticulous attention to safety made me feel confident and confidence helped me to improve my accuracy and speed throughout the weekend. And the class was a barrel of fun! I was intensely engaged for every minute of the classroom and the range work. I hated to see it end. The course was a tremendous value for your fee.
So I look forward to taking other courses from you. Santa Clause will bring me a AR-15 and I'll do the rifle class next spring.

I've wanted to write to you since I attended your Hand Gun 1 Course in September, to tell you what a great course it is! I've spent all of my life being terrified of hand guns. I had many reservations about whether or not I really wanted to attend your course, but with Vince being the Chief of Police, and guns being a "natural" part of his life, I felt it would be a wise decision to enroll in your course in order to find a comfort level with hand guns.
You went above and beyond the basics of the proper handling of a gun -- i.e., what to expect from law enforcement and the legal system should, God forbid, a need ever occur to use one. Knowlege does not only consist of knowing how to properly handle a gun... it consists of having all the information a person requires in order to be able to make a well thought out decision before pulling the trigger. You gave me that knowledge and I can say with all certainty, that it remains in the forefront of my mind.
I will also tell you that I found the practice instructions that you gave the class, to be 1st rate. You covered all the bases and didn't miss a beat. I would highly recommend anyone, especially women who find themselves as fearful as I did, to enroll in your hand gun courses. You're an excellent instructor and I can't tell you how greatful I am that I don't have the fear, but instead, now have a healthy respect for guns.

I want to thank you for the skills I gained in your recent Handgun 1 class. I have been shooting for 45 years and taken several shooting skills classes over the years. So far yours has been the best of my training effort.
Things that were effective:
1. Organization was excellent, the instructors were prepared, knowledgeable and skilled. They were focused and determined to improve our overall effectiveness in a life threatening situation.
2. Safety was outstanding. There was good control throughout the whole class with the thousands of rounds pumped downrange. I always check this out in the first day of a class and you did a great job here.
3. The drills were good. They were as close to real life situations as you might get and required lots of thought to react to the circumstances and get the situation under control. Critiques were relevant.
4. Overall skill improvement. I always compare my day in and day out skills. I felt confident that I had first off improved my ability to analyze a situation and react to it with greater confidence than before. I had definitely cut the rough edges off of my handgun presentation by the end of the class. I was on target and many times quicker with a safe presentation of the weapon.
Good job. Please send me a schedule of your future classes. I will be back in Wyoming to hunt in October of 05 and I would be interested in spending a few days in a shotgun skills class. E-mail the schedule to me please.

Mike, from a LE prospective, the advanced Handgun-2 training was outstanding. The retention shooting drills were very valuable as were the injury drills, the vehicle fighting, and the ground fighting training. Although I hope I never have to use these techniques, I'm very appreciative that I now have the knowledge and confidence to do so if needed. Elevating the stress levels and speed requirements really makes a difference. I thoroughly enjoyed the training and look forward to future clases.

It gave me new understanding of things that I thought I knew, but really did not make sense when thought about logically. I will definitely be attending more of your classes in the future, and will be sending my wife to take your Womans Basic Marksmanship class.
